This physical certificate, from the International Council for Online Educational Standards (ICOES), is personalized with your name, the name of the course you have completed, your date of completion, and your grade. This certificate is printed on certificate paper [Size A4 (210 x 297 mm) 300 grams Motif Premium], including grading and embossed stamp. The certificate will be shipped from The Netherlands in a cardboard-backed envelope with a signed accompanying letter.
ICOES generates its own numbering for the certificates, and this unique number can be used for verification directly with the accreditation body.
ICOES is an accreditation institute based in the Netherlands that establishes, monitors and continually develops the educational standards of online teaching institutions. The ICOES certificate underlines to employers, colleagues and customers that your online course is approved by a body that requires its members, such as the International Open Academy, to meet specific standards in the provision of online education.
This is not a standalone item and should only be purchased in conjunction with a course. Please note that International Open Academy has only 24 hours for any corrections to be made before passing your order to ICOES. If the certificate is not delivered to you due to an incorrect address, or if a requested name correction is made more than 24 hours after placing the order, an additional re-posting fee may apply.

The ICOES Certificate is an independent document issued by an external body. All queries related to delivery issues and concerns should be sent directly to ICOES using the email certificates@icoes.org.
Verification or authentication of the ICOES certificate can be done through ICOES directly. Any interested party (e.g. an employer, school or institute to which you have to present your ICOES certificate) can contact ICOES (certificates@icoes.org), and they will provide a declaration by email free of cost. The declaration confirms the authenticity of your accredited certificate and the successful completion of your course (including relevant course details).
Please note that when you buy the ICOES Certificate - Hard Copy and ICOES Digital Certificate together in a single bundle order, both will apply to one single course that you select.

ICOES Certificates are mailed from the Netherlands. The standard option will use the country of destination’s local postal service for delivery and does not include a tracking number. The Tracked Delivery and Express option will be emailed to you once the order is in transit.
Certificates are usually dispatched every Tuesday of the week following the order placement. The delivery timeframe will start on the day of dispatch, not on the day of purchase.
Note: If you ordered a 'standard' delivery option, but would like to change to a 'Tracked Delivery" or “Express” option, please contact ICOES directly at certificates@icoes.org to request an upgrade. Be aware that this upgrade carries additional fees per certificate.
