Wendy Sheppard & Gwendolyn Sheppard
Expertise: Quilting
Wendy Sheppard began her career as a chemical engineer, but in 2005, with encouragement from a friend and no prior experience, she made her first quilt. Now Wendy's original designs have been featured in numerous quilting magazines and she designs patterns for several major fabric companies. Wendy’s daughter, Gwendolyn, is one of Aurifil's first batch of "Aurikids," part of an initiative to reach out to the next generation of crafters and sewists. Quiltmaker Magazine published an article on Wendy and Gwendolyn quilting together, and Wendy was a guest on Pat Sloan's podcast talking about stitching with her daughter.
