    Most of our courses will earn you credits through Continuing Education (CE) / Continuing Professional Development (CPD). CE/CPD points are accepted and recognized by professional member bodies and academic institutions across the US and internationally.

    Mikael Jasin

    Mikael Jasin is the founder of SSG Coffee Company. He started his coffee journey in 2012 while living in Melbourne, Australia before eventually leading the coffee bars of some of Melbourne's busiest cafes. He moved back to his native Indonesia in 2017 to join Common Grounds Coffee Roasters & ST. Ali Jakarta working in Marketing & Quality Control.

    Mikael is also a coffee competitor. After competing several times, Mikael won the Indonesian Barista Championship in 2019. He went on to become the first Indonesian in a World Barista Championship finalist, coming 4th in WBC Boston, 2019.

    Mikael believes that coffee is an agent of change for the communities around it. Hence, he created this home barista course to make sure that everybody has access to the knowledge needed to make great coffee at home.
